Privacy Policy

Mike B Marketing ("we," "us"), based in Hampton Roads, Virginia, operates this website and the Quote Agent demo tools. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We don't sell your personal information.

• Quote inputs. Details you type into the demo tools — VIN or vehicle year/make/model, the issue description, project type and size, material tier, timeline, home square footage, and system age.
• Contact details. Name, email, phone, and anything else you enter when you book a call or submit our lead form.
• Technical data. A one-way hashed fingerprint derived from your IP address and browser user agent, used only to enforce demo rate limits and prevent abuse. We do not store your raw IP address alongside your quotes.
• Usage events. Which trade you selected and which buttons you clicked, so we can see which demos are useful.

• To generate and display your quote.
• To follow up if you asked us to contact you.
• To limit abuse of the demo and keep the service running.
• To improve our rate tables, copy, and product.

We do not use quote inputs for advertising profiles, and we don't sell or rent personal information to anyone.

We share only what's needed with service providers who process data on our behalf: hosting and database infrastructure, our scheduling and CRM platform (GoHighLevel) for booked calls and form submissions, the NHTSA vPIC vehicle database for VIN decoding, and a marketplace parts-pricing API. VIN and job-description text may be sent to those lookups to price a repair. We may also disclose information where required by law.

The site uses only the cookies and local storage needed to make pages work. Embedded scheduling and form widgets from our CRM provider may set their own cookies under their privacy policy. You can block cookies in your browser, though embedded booking tools may stop working.

Demo quote records and usage events are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted or aggregated. Contact details from booking and lead forms are kept for as long as we have an active or prospective business relationship, or until you ask us to delete them.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in an access-controlled database. API credentials are held in an encrypted secret store and never exposed in the browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by replying to any message from us or using the contact form. Depending on where you live — including under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act — you may have additional rights to confirm, obtain a copy of, correct, or delete your data and to appeal a denial. We honor those requests regardless of where you live.

The site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we'll delete it.

We'll update this policy when our practices change and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
